Hello Class of 2017 Students and Families,

Congratulations on being so close to the end of your journey through high school! Before you start planning those post-BHS activities, make sure you have handled a few responsibilities to make for a smooth transition.

Outstanding Debts & Book Fines
Students must clear all financial obligations (including book debts, athletic equipment, etc.) to the school prior to obtaining graduation tickets and receiving a diploma. Check the updated fines list posted in D173. All fines can be paid in the Student Body Accounts Office in D173.

Seniors won't receive their High School Diplomas until they return all their textbooks and library books back to the textbook room and library. Seniors will be able to check their outstanding fines during lunchtime in the textbook room and after school in the library.

Name on Diploma
Eventually, there will be a Potential Graduation List posted publicly. The name on this list will be what is printed on each diploma. If you wish to correct the spelling of your name, please visit Mrs. Mellion in the Registrar's Office, D173. More info about diplomas can be found in the Senior Letter.

Cap & Gown distribution on May 9 at lunch in the courtyard. If you have yet to order or were not present during the first set of distribution dates, please plan to pick your items up on May 9. Please contact Achievers Inc. at 408.441.7200<tel:%28408%29%20441-7200> if you have any questions. If you cannot attend this date, Achievers Inc. will be at graduation from 11 am until the ceremony ends for all of your grad needs.

Mark Your Calendar

  *   Mandatory Senior Meeting June 13 1:00 am - 1:30 pm in the Community Theater
  *   Mandatory Senior Rehearsal tentatively scheduled for June 16 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Greek Theater
  *   Graduation Ceremony, seniors return at 4:30 pm to the Greek Theater

Graduation Tickets
There is no new information about graduation tickets. Please review the Senior Letter for info from last year which is subject to change. We will send a message to students through your student email and to the wider community through the E-Tree and other methods when more information is available, hopefully no later than late May. Information will include the process for graduating students to receive two free Bowl tickets, the ADA ticket process, sales dates/times/locations, among other details about attending graduation. We appreciate your patience as we finalize the details.

Graduation Performance Auditions
Interested in sharing your voice or talents at graduation? Graduating students can sign up for an audition time in the leadership office on Monday. Performance spots are extremely limited, are capped at 4 minutes, and will be assessed by students and staff. Performance auditions include speeches, dances, bands, song, poetry, etc...
