Dear Parents at Berkeley High School,

The East Bay Community Foundation is currently recruiting applicants for the Shelley Bergum Higher Education Scholarship. This scholarship will award $2,500 to 2 students who are:

  *   seniors at Berkeley High School
  *   have a documented disability
  *   attending a 2- or 4-year California college in the fall

See attachment for eligibility details and application requirements.

Qualified scholars may receive ongoing support throughout their undergraduate studies (reapplication required).

Deadline to apply has been extended until Friday, April 21, 2017! This is the first year that this scholarship is awarded, and we want to make sure the word is getting out in the school community. Please share with any Berkeley High families that may have a college-bound Senior who could benefit from this scholarship.
