For those of you who do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or if you would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily Bulletin section of Powerschool.

Morning Sports Report

During Spring Break, the freshman baseball team went 1-1 in a doubleheader with Freedom High School, the boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams defeated Newark Memorial, and the JV baseball team beat Castro Valley and Concord.

The only team playing today is the boys golf team; they are traveling to Skywest Golf Course to compete against Arroyo High School. Tomorrow afternoon, you'll have four opportunities to support Jacket athletes. The badminton team takes on Encinal in the Jacket Gym, the boys volleyball team plays against San Leandro in the Donahue Gym, the girls lacrosse team hosts Oakland Tech at Jacket Stadium, and the boys tennis team competes against Bishop O'Dowd at King Middle School.

Art, Activism & Culture Week 2017

Are you interested in performing at the BHS annual Art, Activism and Culture Show? Sign up to audition outside of the Leadership office, room D-148. Auditions will take place after Spring Break.

Prom 2017

Midnight in Paris, Prom 2017, will take place at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco. You can expect a beautiful setting with plenty of amenities included in the ticket price. There will be a sweet & savory crepe bar, the popular chocolate fountain, free photo booths as well as professional photos at a cost. Seniors and juniors are welcome to purchase tickets.

Please note that we do follow the attendance rule and no student with 30 or more unverified (UNV) period absences will be allowed to attend. Please consult PowerSchool and the Attendance Office for more details on how to clear absences. Any appeal letters must be submitted before April 14 to the attendance office or the Dean of Attendance.

Ticket sales take place from now until Friday, April 21, in the Leadership Office (in cafeteria) during lunch & after school, or you can buy them online at bhsprom2017.bpt.me<http://bhsprom2017.bpt.me>. The cost is $75, $65 if you have an ASB sticker, or $50 if you are eligible for free or reduced lunch and have a signed verification form.

Reminders from the BHS Admin and Safety Teams

Here are a few reminders from your BHS administrative and safety teams: All students must have a pass before leaving the classroom. Students with no 1st or no 6th period should either be off campus or in another space on campus with permission; students should not be in common areas. Our expectation is that students will leave the Campus Green and M Building areas immediately after 6th period has ended. Students should proceed to Bridge, the CCC, teacher-led tutorials, the library or off campus. We will clear the entire campus at 3:45. Thank you, students, for your cooperation.
