Advanced Placement Exam Registration
Only about 1/3 of the students enrolled in AP classes have registered online for this year's AP exams. Registration ends next Monday, March 20 at 11:59 p.m., but in order to avoid a late fee of $15 per exam, registration must be completed by 11:59 p.m. this Friday. Students who check that they qualify for the fee waiver through the free and reduced lunch programs need to complete paperwork to verify their eligibility. The form can be picked up in the CCC, then taken to the cafeteria where the Food Services manager will sign. The signed form should be delivered to Ms. Williams in C106 and she will approve the fee waiver in the student's Total Registration account. The online address is www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050290<http://www.totalregistration.net/AP/050290>.

Volunteer Opportunity at the Y
Looking to get volunteer hours over Spring Break? Join staff at the Downtown Berkeley YMCA as we welcome low-income families for our Learn To Swim Week. Volunteers must be 16 years or older, but do not need any lifeguard or swim experience. As a volunteer, you will be helping teach children and families water safety skills to help keep our community safe. Swim Week will take place April 3rd through 7th from 3:30 - 6:30 pm each day, and we are asking volunteers to commit to two shifts during that week plus attend the training on April 1st from 11 am - 2 pm. If interested please email Chelsea Tuomi, Volunteer Specialist at the Y, at ctuomi at ymcacba.org<mailto:ctuomi at ymcacba.org>.
