announcements where you are during second period, or if you would like to
read them each day, you can find them in the Daily Bulletin section of
Powerschool.
*Morning Sports Report*
The girls varsity basketball team is headed to the state playoffs! After
going all the way to the semi-finals in the North Coast Section Division I
Championship, the Lady Jackets have earned the number 5 seed in the CIF
NorCal bracket, and will host number 12 Los Altos High School on Wednesday
night at 7:00 pm in the Donahue Gym. General admission is $9, and $5 for
students with ID.
In other sports news, the girls varsity softball team beat Head-Royce 7-0,
the boys varsity and JV baseball teams beat Newark Memorial 6-2 and 4-0,
respectively.

*College & Career Week Events*
This week is our annual College & Career Awareness Summit. A variety of
activities designed to promote and support a college going culture and
career exploration have been scheduled. Summit activities will occur over 3
days beginning on Tuesday, March 7. Everyone is encouraged to represent
their favorite college or university on Thursday, March 9 by wearing a
college sweatshirt or T-shirt.

*C400 Sound Studio*
Attention all lyricists, poets, rappers, vocalists, musicians, spoken word
artists, etc: this public service announcement contains information that
could change your life! The sound studio is room C-400 is looking for you.
For more information, view the video by checking your student Email account
or the PowerSchool Student Daily Bulletin. Stop by C400 after school Monday
through Thursday to reserve the studio.

*AP Exam Registration Is Now Open*
Students currently enrolled in AP classes who intend to take the AP exams
in May, 2017, can now register for the exams online The fee per exam is
$110, but students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program pay $5
per exam. Register early, because after March 18, there is an additional
late fee of $15 per exam. Registration ends on March 20. The online website
is www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050290. Payment may be made by credit or
debit card.

* Go Ahead Shred Ski Trip*
Want to ski or snowboard with your friends and enjoy a beautiful day on the
mountain? Go Ahead Shred, Berkeley High's ski and snowboard club, is
hosting a one-day trip to Squaw Valley on Saturday, March 11! The last trip
was absolutely amazing, and we hope you'll join us for this one. Email
bhsgoaheadshred at gmail.com for more info. The online deadline to sign up is
tomorrow night, Tuesday March 7!
