Hello Fellow Yellow Jackets!

It is almost spring and that means more sunlight with warmer weather. It
is also means a fresh list of student activities at BHS and the
beginning of elections for 2017-18 student leadership positions. As we
learned from the most recent national election, voting is a major way
that you, the citizen, can speak directly to the policy leaders in
government positions. Although ASB elected positions don't create state
or federal policy, they do have an effect on types of things that happen
at BHS. Tell them what you think by reading through the attached
candidate booklet and VOTING for the best candidate!

*Message from BHS Yearbook staff:*

**

The Yearbook wants your voice!

The BHS Yearbook staff is looking for students to share their opinions
about Berkeley High, its cultures, and Berkeley in general. This year,
we want to hear what students think, and we'll feature some of these
testimonials in 'spotlights' throughout the book.

About the survey <https://goo.gl/forms/JzqPuOubIVXdfcry2> -- we know
there are a lot of questions, but *you do NOT have to answer every
question!* We're interested in quality of responses over quantity, so
feel free to pick and choose which questions interest you.

Here is a link <https://goo.gl/forms/JzqPuOubIVXdfcry2> to an online
survey we've set up for digital 'interviews' (If the link doesn't work,
you can paste this into your URL bar:
https://goo.gl/forms/JzqPuOubIVXdfcry2). We'll select the best responses
and insert them into this year's book.

Thanks for your help, and thank you so much for sharing your unique
perspective!

-Yearbook Staff
