The City of Berkeley 2020 Vision Beyond College and Career Week Parent Engagement Pathway to College planning committee is seeking parent volunteers to share their experiences about preparing, supporting, going through the college selection and application process with their student.

They are holding a Parent Volunteer meeting on Wednesday, March 1 at the YMCA - Teen center, at 6:00 pm so volunteers can see the venue, go over the event format and answer any questions they might have.

Parent volunteers would talk about some of the following topics:
   - A-G coursework
   - PSAT SAT/ACT AP IB testing
   - Importance of extracurricular opportunities
   - Letting your child go
   - 4 year/2 year college options
   - College Essays

The College and Career Summit event will be Tuesday, March 7, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, the audience will also be parents. Please let them know if you are able to help out.
