CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS SOCCER TEAM
Berkeley goes to the Finals

On Wednesday night, 2/22, Berkeley High (seed #5) travelled to San Ramon Valley High School to match up with the #1 seed San Ramon in the Semi-Finals of NCS.

Tied 0-0 at the half, each team scored on a penalty kick ending regulation time with a 1-1 score (Berkeley High's Arlo Moore-Bloom scored the BHS goal). The two teams moved into overtime but no one scored in the first 10 minute period and they entered a second. Berkeley High scored a goal (Max Peterson) and the Yellowjackets win and advance to the FINALS of the CIF/NCS Championship.

Special thanks to all the fans that drove to Danville to cheer them on!

Berkeley High Boys soccer has met up with San Ramon Valley High School during the NCS Championships for four years in a row. This year they brought home the win!

The last time Berkeley High Boys were in the CIF/NCS Finals was in 2004 when they beat De La Salle in the Semi-Finals and advanced to the Finals with a win over Washington High School.

Berkeley High (#5) will play De La Salle (#3) on Saturday 2/25 in the Finals at Dublin High School at 5:00 pm.

Admission is charged by NCS for all playoff championship games.
