*Spring Semester Open House*

Berkeley High School's annual Open House is Thursday, February 9th, at
7:00 pm. During Open House, parents and guardians follow their students'
schedules as they meet teachers for mid-year class updates. Teachers
will showcase recent student work, preview topics that will be covered
this semester, and talk about upcoming field trips. Students: remind
your parents to attend, especially if you have a new class or a new
teacher this semester. Parents can visit information tables in the Food
Court starting at 6:30, zero period starts at 6:45, and first period
starts at 7:00.

*Morning Sports Report*

Winners from last weekend's games include boys varsity soccer and girls
varsity soccer. There are no scheduled sports events today.

Attention interested math students! MathWorks is an after school
academic support program providing one-on-one and group math tutoring
for Willard Middle School students. You can receive tutoring, community
service and even leadership credit for tutoring students at Willard on
Tuesday afternoons from 4:10 until 5:00. Join today by coming to Willard
Middle School, 2425 Stuart Street near Telegraph Avenue.

*JUNIORS: Rising Above Scholarship Information Session
Students Rising Above is an organization that invests in low-income,
first generation college students who have demonstrated a deep
commitment to education and strength of character while overcoming
tremendous odds of poverty, homelessness, and neglect. Juniors: Are you
a student who is “rising above?” If so, Students Rising Above invites
you to apply for their mentoring and scholarship program. For more
information, come to an information session with an advisor from
Students Rising Above today at lunchtime in the College & Career Center,
room D-221 (across from the library).
