The Council on International Educational Exchange, CIEE, a long-standing,
leading non-profit that supports study and work abroad opportunities for
high school and college students, will be at Berkeley High from 6:30-7:30pm
on Tuesday, November 22 in the College and Career Center.
CIEE has at least $25,000 in need-based or merit-based scholarship money to
give to current 9th to 11th grade students at Berkeley High for their summer
opportunities this year in three areas of focus
<https://www.ciee.org/high-school-summer-abroad/programs/search/>:
- Language and Culture
- Service
- Global Discovery
Every year several Berkeley High students take life-changing trips with CIEE
to Mexico, China, Germany, Morocco, Ghana, Portugal, Costa Rica and several
other countries. Have your child be the next one! The information night
will include a review of the many exciting opportunities for this year,
hearing from past participants, and how to start an application.
