*Berkeley High School Bulletin for Friday, October 28, 2016*

Good Morning Berkeley High School, this is Mr. Pasarow with your
dailies on Friday,
October 28.

Today’s positive shout outs start with some warm words from Art Teacher
Eric Norberg, “Adriana Betti for going, and bringing reps from Berkeley
High, to the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota to stand in
solidarity with thousands of other indigenous people and supporters to
protect the water for millions of humans on earth! We also want to
recognize all the good work she does with RISE.”

This next shout out comes from CAS Teacher and Teacher Leader Hasmig
Minassian and goes to our parent volunteers, “Thanks to the volunteer
parents who have been managing the front desk so diligently and helping to
keep our staff and students safe and healthy. They are negotiating many
personalities while abiding by policies, and we appreciate their time,
efforts, and kindness.”

This next positive comes from anonymous, “We would like to shout out
"Biffin Griffin" for being an upstanding individual and for always standing
up for what is right. You da best.”

Today’s final shout out comes from the attendance team, and it reads, “Shout
out to Jessica Lopez for countless hours and years of putting students
first. For always using a crystal clear equity lens. For collaborating on
school-wide committees, and initiatives. For her commitment to the EL
newcomer and RISE communities. And for being a lead team member in
attendance. We love you! BHS will always be your home. Congratulations!!!”
