Practice for students participating in next week's Flag Football Fundraiser is this Thursday, October 13th, from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm. Teams will be finalized this week so please be on time and ready to practice. The final practice is next Wednesday, October 19th, from 4:00 until 5:00 and it will only be a short run through practice. Special Bell Schedule for Friday, October 14
This year we will launch Unity Week 2016 in the Berkeley Community Theater with the Show of Unity on Friday, October 14. There will be a special bell schedule that includes 45-minute periods and an early lunch so that we can begin the assembly at 2:30. Students will sit with their 6th period teachers to celebrate and unify as one big Red and Gold family. We will recognize fall athletes, see student performances, promote the Holiday Meal, present the Unity Week themes and expectations, and have a guest speaker, among other surprises. Everyone is asked to wear BHS gear.
Berkeley High's BIONIC (Believe it or Not I Care) club is hosting its very own coin drive to help victims of hurricane Matthew. All proceeds will go to providing relief to the individuals affected and help them regain a hold of their lives. Coin jars will be going around Berkeley High classrooms during all of this week and the next. There will also be a box to leave coins in, at the leadership office. Please contact berkeleyhighbionic at gmail.com<mailto:berkeleyhighbionic at gmail.com> if you have any questions or want more information. Thank you!
Those students registered for the 2016 PSAT at Berkeley High need to report to the Campus Green (between the C Building and the Donahue Gym) on Saturday morning, October 15 by 8:00 a.m. Room assignments (alphabetical by last name) will be posted on the C Building doors. Students whose accommodations have been approved by College Board should report to the Nonstandard test room.
