*Berkeley High School Bulletin for Tuesday, September 20, 2016*

*BART Tickets*

BART tickets for September have arrived. Students can pick up tickets in
room D224 at lunch. All tickets must be picked up by September 30. The next
BART ticket order dates are October 5 and 6.

*PSAT*

Juniors! Sign ups for the 2016 PSAT are taking place for you this week at
lunch and after school at the Jacket Stadium ticket office. The test is
Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8:00 am. The cost is $25 payable in cash or by check
written to Berkeley High School. Juniors who participate in the free and
reduced lunch program pay $5.00; you will need proof of participation to
receive the reduced fee. Sign-ups for Sophomores begin Monday, Sept. 26.
Juniors who do not sign up this week may also sign up next week.

*Fall PE Waivers Now Available*

The Attendance Office is now distributing Fall PE Waiver forms. The first
portion of the waiver process is due back to the Attendance Office no later
than October 7, 2016. No exceptions will be made for missed deadlines. The
Fall waiver will include a cover page with all the information you will
need to know. Please make sure you read it.

*Morning Sports Report*

All of today's games are on the road:

Girls Golf vs. Arroyo @ Skywest Golf Course
Girls Tennis vs. Hayward @ Hayward HIgh School
Girls Volleyball vs. Hayward @ Hayward High School
Boys & Girls Water Polo vs. Lick-Wilmerding @ City College, SF Pool



In recent action, the girls varsity water polo team defeated American, the
girls varsity field hockey team defeated Marin Catholic, and the boys JV
and varsity football teams fell to Pittsburg. There are no Jacket teams
competing today, but tomorrow the following teams will be in action: girls
golf, girls tennis, girls volleyball, and boys and girls water polo.

*Back to School Night*

Students: On Thursday, September 22, our campus will be open for parents
and guardians to follow your schedule! Please remind your families to save
the date. Zero period starts at 6:45 pm and first period starts promptly at
7:00 pm.

*SENIORS: This Week's College Presentations*

This week, more than 15 colleges and universities will hold information
sessions here on campus, including: UC Santa Barbara, Occidental College,
Duke University and the University of Oregon. Check your student Email
account for a complete schedule. To attend a college presentation, students
must ask their teachers for permission to miss class, and must use the
College Advisor Pass (available in the CCC) to list schools and teachers'
signatures.
