The Berkeley High School Development Group (BHSDG) Scrip Program raises
funds for a variety of programs at BHS such as: free drop-in tutoring,
teacher classroom grants, Restorative Justice, and the Substance Use
Prevention Program at the BHS Health Center, to name a few.

Stop by our table in the Student Union at Back to School Night this
Thursday, 9/22, to learn about the program and sign up for scrip!



We sell four kinds of scrip:

    Berkeley Bowl ($100 electronic card denominations),

    Berkeley and El Cerrito Natural Grocery Stores ($10 paper scrip
denominations),

    Peet’s Coffee and Tea ($10, $20 and $50 gift cards)

    Solano Avenue Association ($10 gift cards that are honored at the
Solano Avenue Andronico’s market and many stores and restaurants on Solano



*HOW DO I SIGN UP?*  You can make a purchase at Back to School Night with
payment by check or cash. Or, if you choose to become a subscriber, we can
deliver scrip to your home if you live in Berkeley and purchase a regular
minimum amount. Most folks take a monthly scrip delivery but we can also
deliver to you quarterly, every other month, or even on an ad-hoc basis.  Your
order can be changed or cancelled at any time.



*Your Participation Makes a Difference!!  *A monthly purchase of $100 for
Berkeley Bowl results in an Annual Contribution to BHSDG of $40.  $20 a
month of Peet’s or Solano Ave Gift Cards nets $20 a year for BHSDG, and
$100 a month for the Natural Grocery gets BHSDG $60 a year.
