Hello Berkeley High,

Awww, fall brings in a new season and a new reason to try something new and make some new friends. The leadership office and website<http://berkeleyschools.net/leadership/> is the first place to look for information on how to join a registered club or start your own club.

BHS Leadership: berkeleyschools.net/leadership/<http://berkeleyschools.net/leadership/>

TO JOIN A CLUB: Click here to view the most current list of student clubs<http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/student-activities-3/berkeley-high-clubs/>. Attend any meeting and see if the club is a good fit for you. A few clubs have a process for joining, so make sure to attend meetings early on in the semester.

TO START A CLUB: New clubs need 2 student leaders, 1 staff sponsor, and a space to meet on campus. Your club will then need to register using a registration form and constitution. Please visit our leadership website to download the registration form and club constitution<http://berkeleyschools.net/leadership/?page_id=25>. There is also a BHS Club Handbook<http://berkeleyschools.net/leadership/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/BHSClubHandbook-6.16.pdf> as a handy reference for all club leaders.

UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS:

  * Thursday, September 1 at Lunch. Club Meet & Greet on the Main Courtyard. First chance to see club offerings.
  * Wednesday, September 7 at Lunch. Registered Club Staff Sponsor Meeting. In College & Career Center. Staff sponsors of currently registered student clubs learn about changes to the supervision of clubs and basic in the Club Handbook.
  * Thursday, September 15 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Fall Club Fair on the Campus Green. Teachers can bring their classes from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to have a more extensive visit with student clubs and community organizations.

Leadership Office is located in the cafeteria next to the counseling center. Stop by before school, at lunch or after school.

Have a great day,
