SPRING LEARN TO ROW DAY!

Want to try out the sport of rowing?

Berkeley High Crew is holding our annual Spring Learn-to-Row Day on
Sunday April 10 from 9 AM to Noon at the Jack London Aquatic Center.

This event is open to youth ages 11 and up. While this event is FREE, we
do ask that you RSVP so we know how many people to expect! This is a
great opportunity to learn about the sport of rowing in general, and
rowing at Berkeley High in particular. It is also a chance to meet our
coaches, current student-athletes and their parents, and other future
Berkeley High Rowers.

Participants will learn the basics on rowing machines and on the water
in our training barge.

We encourage everyone to bring a water bottle and hat (for sun
protection) and to wear sunscreen. Dress in layers and wear comfortable,
athletic clothing—sweatpants or shorts are fine but avoid baggy,
basketball-style shorts because they can get caught in the equipment.
