Information for parents/guardians about clearing absences related to Berkeley High team sports:
When a BHS team is competing right after school, or needs to travel to attend a game, students will be released early from class to do so. The Athletic Director's office will clear all game, team sports-related absences.

All absences due to participation in Berkeley High team sports will be cleared with the Attendance Office by the Athletic Director's office in communication with the Coaches of those sports. You do not need to notify the Attendance office or clear directly with the Attendance office.
Please allow up to 10 school days for an absence to clear (most often they will be cleared sooner than this). If it has been more than 10 school days please email the Athletic Director's office at athleticdirector at berkeley.net<mailto:athleticdirector at berkeley.net>

Please be patient with us as we make sure that all absences are cleared accordingly.
