Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office, by Brittanica
Brantley brittanicabrantley at berkeley.net and Victoria Session
victoriasession at berkeley.net. For those of you who do not hear the
announcements where you are during second period, or if you would like to
read them each day, you can find them in the Daily Bulletin section of
Powerschool.
  BART Tickets

Students: Please go to the Parent Resource Center in room D224 to order
your BART tickets on March 2nd and 3rd.

*Lit Zine!*

The BHS Lit zine is now accepting submissions for our second issue! If you
have original poetry or short stories that you want published,send an email
with the subject line "submission request"to bhszine at gmail.com. To submit
art, email tarablossom at students.berkeley.net. Meetings are held on Mondays
at lunch in C128. Feel free to come check out a copy of our first edition
in the school library.

*Independent Theater Projects!*

Why do we exist? Who created us? What does it truly mean to be human? Find
out all this and more at this year's independent theater projects show,
March 4,5,11, and 12th at the Hillside Club at 7:00pm. Be there or be
dependent

*Saturday School!*

Saturday School this Saturday March 5th from 9am-12pm in H207. Enter from
the MLK and Allston corner of the H building. Sign up in the attendance
office before if you can or just come. Saturday School lets you clear up to
6 absences. Tutors, computers and an awesome teacher are available to help.
Bring homework, projects, papers, or reading.

*IB Studio Art!*

Are you passionate about something, want time to study it through art? Take
IB Studio Art. This interdisciplinary art class is open to ALL juniors and
seniors across Berkeley High-you do not have to be in BIHS, OR take the IB
exam-just be ready to work hard. Information meeting Tuesday March 1st and
Thursday March 3rd at lunch in A104 for IB Studio Art.

*Prom!*

Juniors and Seniors, the attendance office has sent an email to students
who will not be allowed to attend prom due to excessive absences. Please
make sure to check your email. If you are worried you will not be allowed
to attend, you can swing by the attendance office to ask one of the
attendance office ladies.

*AP Chemistry*

Interested in taking AP Chemistry next year? Come to an informational
meeting either Friday 3/4 or Monday 3/7 during lunch in room G304.

*ADVANCED THEATRE PROJECTS!*

It’s not too late to sign up for advanced theatre projects for next year.  If
you’ve taken drama class here, sign up to learn stage fighting, vocal
technique, commercial and film techniques, and more.  See Mr. Winer in A203
with any questions.  Act now!
