IB Studio Art - make art about what you care about!


Learn to research, write, make, exhibit and sell art like a professional
artist.

This interdisciplinary art class is open to ALL juniors and seniors across
Berkeley High -- you do not have to be in BIHS, or take the IB exam - just
be ready to work hard.

Information meeting Tuesday, March 1st and Thursday, March 3rd at lunch in
A104 for IB Studio Art.  Or come talk to Ms. D'Adamo in A104 anytime.

Examples of past students' focuses:
- Genetic engineering,

- Gentrification,

- How fashion shapes our understanding of gender,

- Giant Squids,

- Poverty in the Bay Area,

- Body image in dance,

- Music as mathematics,

- Cell Biology,

- Insects,

- The line between science and religion...

What do YOU care about?  Come Make art about it with us!  IB Studio Art!

Are you 'weird', tinker-y, creative, radical, brilliant-but-bored?  Do you
want to make art like the art in these pictures?
