announcements where you are during second period, or if you would like to
read them each day, you can find them in the Daily Bulletin section of
Powerschool.

*Morning Sports Report*
Basketball

The boys and girls basketball teams both advance to the NCS Division I
semi-finals. The boys upset Dougherty Valley on the road 42-39, while the
girls beat James Logan at home 54-40. The girls will host Heritage on
Wednesday night at 7:00 in the Donahue Gym, and the boys will travel to
Danville to play Monte Vista also on Wednesday night at 7:00.
Baseball

Jacket Baseball has a big opening day against Granada! Both the Varsity and
the Freshman teams won. The Freshman team plays Oakland Tech tomorrow at
Willard Middle School, while the JV travels to Albany tomorrow and the
Varsity teams hosts Albany tomorrow afternoon.
Lacrosse

The varsity and JV teams lost last week to Terra Linda. The varsity team
will play against Stockton's Lincoln High School tomorrow afternoon at
Jacket Stadium.
Softball

The varsity softball team also lost last week to Terra Linda. They will
host Alameda High School later this week.

*IB Studio Art with Ms. D'Adamo*

Learn to be an interdisciplinary artist! Learn how to exhibit and sell your
art!

Consider taking IB Studio Art... This interdisciplinary art class is open
to ALL juniors and seniors across Berkeley High-you do not have to be in
BIHS, OR take the IB exam-just be ready to work hard.

Information meeting *Tuesday March 1st and Thursday March 3rd at lunch in
A104 for IB Studio Art*..

*SoFresh Tropical Dance*

The beach is coming to Berkeley High on Friday night, March 4 for the
Tropical Dance. Join us from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. for good friends and
good music. Make new friends as you relax by the "beach". Open to 9th and
10th graders Berkeley High School (includes BTA/ISP) only; no guests from
other schools. Light snacks will be provided. Tickets are on sale in the
Leadership Office: one ticket for $3 or 2 tickets for $5.

*Seal of Biliteracy*

Are you a senior who speaks two languages fluently? You may qualify for the
Seal of Biliteracy. Applications are due on Monday, February 29, so visit
rooms C107, M104 or M209 for more information.
