The Cash for College/FAFSA workshop for Seniors and their families is this
Thursday, January 28 in the BHS Library from 6:00-8:00 PM. During the
workshop, students and families will work on their FAFSA forms to apply for
financial aid with the help from advisors and volunteers.

The College Career Center is looking for help from Junior or Sophomore
parents. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the college
application & financial aid process and FAFSA. Last year, we had over 100
seniors and 125 parents. This is a great event -- participants spread out
in the College Career Center, Library and room D218.

The more volunteers and support we have at this event, the smoother it
goes. If you can help, please confirm with Mary Jacobs:
maryjacobs at berkeley.net.

*Volunteer Roles:*

Sign-in Station: We need all students and families to sign-in.

Set-up, clean-up and maintain food area: We will provide pizza at the
event.

Flow of computer distribution: Assigning students to computers in the
Library, D218, and the CCC.

Exit Survey Form: Every student needs to do an exit survey before leaving.

Floater: Wiling to go wherever as needed.
