*Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Employee Resource Group (ERGs)* has many
scholarships.* Due 2/1/16* .  Go to:

*PG&E’s Better Together Scholarships:  Due 2/29/16.*  Open to students
throughout our service territory who are pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
Students are selected on a competitive basis with consideration of
financial need, self-declared academic record, demonstrated leadership and
participation in school and community activities, and work experience. 10
scholarships of up to $20,000 will be awarded. For more information and

*Stephanie Brown Cadet Scholarship*: *Due 2/5/16*.  Award of $1,000 &
renewable for 4 yrs.  Given to students who are exemplary in volunteering
for community service.  Go to www.sbcfoundation.org



*The Davidson Fellows Scholarship Awards:  Due 2/10/16   *Awards of
$50,000, $25,000, and $10,000 to extraordinary people, 18 yrs. and under,
who have completed a significant piece of work.  Application categories are
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature Music,
Philosophy, and Outside the Box.  Go to

*Hispanic Community Affairs Council. Due 2/12/16*

Scholarships are dedicated to recognizing the Hispanic/Latino culture and
the education of Hispanic/Latino students.  Awards vary from $750-$1,500.  Go

*The Dream.US: Application Deadline: 2/15/16.* Scholarships of up to
$25,000 to undocumented students who have demonstrated financial need and
who seek to earn a career-ready associate’s or bachelor’s degree at one of
our partner colleges and/or universities. Student must have earned a high
school unweighted GPA of 2.5. For a list of these colleges/universities,

*Kaiser Permanente Asian Association/KPAA:  Due 2/21/16.*  Seven
scholarships of $3,500 each. KP Asian Association recognizes students of
any ethnicity who have brought demonstrable, tangible benefit to an Asian
community and have the potential to be future leaders. Student must have a
minimum GPA of 2.5. Visit

*Berkeley Retired Teachers Association: Morris and Juliet James Award: Due
2/23/16. *Award of $2,500 to graduating seniors who attended Berkeley
Public Schools (Kindergarten to 12th grades) and plan to attend a 4 yr.
college or university.  Hard copy application only from Mary Jacobs in CCC
or Scholarship Box in CCC, D-221.  Application form and one page essay
required.



*Chen Foundation: Due 2/29/16.*  (10) $2,000 renewable scholarships for
students planning to attend a California State University or a California
Community College. Applicant must have a household income at or below
California state low income level and have a GPA of 3.0. The scholarship is
open to all majors and there is no ethnicity requirement. Go to

*Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund (TASF): Deadline 2/29/16.*  (20)
$2,500 scholarships available. Student must be a U.S. citizen, or a U.S.
permanent resident and direct blood descendant of a Taiwanese citizen.
Student must also have a GPA of 3.0 and have a household income at or below
the Federal/State/County low income level. All awardees must submit a short

*Buick Achievers: Due 2/29/16.  *Students interested in STEM- science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics.  50 renewable scholarships of up
