Spring Sports 2016, Athletic Packets and Eligibility

Clearing dates for athletic packets will take place February 3, 4 and 5,
2016 (lunchtime and 3:30-4:30)!!!

TRYOUTS START ON February 8th, 2016.

Athletic Director’s office J207 (behind the stadium bleachers).

Do not wait until the last day.

Do not miss these clearing dates!

You will not be allowed to try out without having cleared your packet.

Thinking about playing a Spring Sport? Get your athletic packet and make
sure you have an up-to-date physical (medical clearance from you doctor
within the year) or schedule an appointment with your physician now!

Athletic Packets are available to pick up anytime outside of the Athletic
Director’s office, at the BHS Front Desk or download at
http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/ (All Athletic Packets for Spring
Sports will be collected before tryouts begin).

- If you played a Fall or Winter sport and already have a cleared packet on
file you need to come by the Athletic Director’s office during clearing
times to make sure your physical is still current and to register for the
sport you will try out for.  You will be given a Gold Ticket with your name
and the sport you are trying out for.  You will present this to the coach
when you go to tryouts.

- Please remember that eligibility is based on your Semester 1 grades so
work hard to make sure those grades are at a 2.0 minimum GPA.  If you need
any assistance, please ask your teachers about tutoring or check in with
your counselors.
