Please join us for the first BOLD meeting of 2016. We will meet with Robert Borelle of DREDF at 6:30 pm on MONDAY JANUARY 11 in the College and Career Center on the second floor of D building at BHS. There will be time for questions and conversation afterwards.

Robert Borrelle is a staff attorney at the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) here in Berkeley who specializes in special education law. Mr. Borrelle will discuss DREDF's ongoing special education advocacy in the Berkeley Unified School District, including its May 2015 dyslexia-focused compliance complaint and its August 2015 disability discrimination complaint with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR).
