Berkeley Athletic Fund is excited to announce a great opportunity for our school community...

A homegrown local business, Flowerland Nursery & Store (BHS Parent Owned, Alumni Parent, Parent of BHS athlete), has generously offered to donate 10% of all proceeds during four of the busiest shopping days of the season. Funds raised will go towards supporting athletic programs and student athletes at Berkeley High School. Please join the festivities and start your holidays off with freshly cut or living Christmas trees, holiday decor, and a carefully curated selection of beautiful gifts and plants for all occasions.

This event will take place the weekend following Thanksgiving:

Friday November 27th through Monday November 30th, 2015
Hours of operation: Mon-Sat 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Sun 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Student athletes will be available to help with your selections, load your cars, and tie down your trees. Stop by, say hello, and cheer on the BHS Yellowjackets!

Please support the Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) event at Flowerland Nursery and help us to raise funds that will maintain sports programs for nearly 1200 students on 53 teams (Freshman, JV, and Varsity), 29 sports in all. BAF donations are used to pay for tutoring for at risk students, Freshman coach salaries, and health and safety initiatives to benefit all athletes among other things. Participating in high school sports lowers dropout rates, improves mental and physical well being, leads to more social involvement on campus, and helps to reduce health risk behaviors such as substance abuse, violence, and emotional distress.
