College Applications After School: Library Computer Lab with college advisors
Work on your CSU, UC, or private college applications after school in the library computer lab on the following days:
Tuesday 11/17: 3:30-4:30
Thursday 11/19: 3:30-5:30
Tuesday 11/24: 3:30- 6:00 (last day before Thanksgiving break and the deadline)

UC & CSU Application CLOSES ON 11/30/15 at MIDNIGHT.

Send SAT or ACT Scores:
Be sure to order test score reports to your list of colleges or universities.
CSU - Choose California State University Mentor, Long Beach, code 3594 and all CSUs will receive scores.
UC - Choose 1 UC and it will be shared with all UCs.
Private: Send to all private schools.

Transcripts; Letters of recommendation:
Private colleges/universities:
Academic counselors will upload transcripts to schools included in the Common Application.  Be sure you have included your counselor's name and e-mail address on the recommenders page.
Check spelling of name!  Counselors will receive a link to send transcript, school report, letter of recommendation.

Private Schools not on the Common Application: Check to see if your school has their own on-line submission procedure and invite your counselor to send transcript electronically (e.g. send.edu<http://send.edu/>, Minerva).

 If the school does not have on-line submission, you must request an official transcript from the Registrar's Office and provide a stamped and addressed envelope to the school. Transcript request forms are available in D-174 or D-221. Write BHS address as the return address. Attach request (blue transcript form) to a stamped, addressed envelope and turn in to the Registrar's Office in D-174. Remember to stamp and address an envelope for each teacher's letter of recommendation for each college.

UC: NO TRANSCRIPTS TO SEND. After you are admitted to a UC or CSU campus and you enroll, you must request a final transcript from the Registrar's Office. NO LETTERS OF REC

CSU: Check for each CSU requirement. Most CSUs do not need a transcript at this time. NO LETTERS OF REC.

E-Mail Accounts or Portals with each college:
Create an e-mail account or portal with each school you applied to. Check regularly for emails from the schools. Most schools do not mail information to your home, so keep on top of your application status in your portal. Check for supporting documents such as mid-year transcripts. Keep track of your usernames and passwords for each portal.
