After a five-year hiatus, Berkeley Research, Evaluation and Assessment
(BREA) is hosting the return of the BUSD Research Symposium on Friday, November
6, 2015.

The Symposium will bring leading thinkers in current innovative educational
research together with Berkeley community members, BUSD educators and
parents to rethink the role research can play to improve our educational
practices. The Research Symposium is of particular importance to parents
and others in our community, because educational research informs future
educational policies that hold the promise to improve the educational
outcomes for all our students, particularly those who are caught in the
opportunity gap. The 2015 BUSD Research Symposium aims to reach more than
200 community members from Berkeley and the greater community.

Childcare will be provided.

WHEN: Friday November 6, 2015. 5:45-8:30 p.m. - Registration begins at
5:15 p.m.

WHERE: Longfellow Middle School, 1500 Derby Street

Find the list of presenters, link for registration, and all the event
details here.
