Put on your traveling shoes and join us for Parents’ Night TONIGHT, October 27 at 7pm in the BHS Library. Learn about the summer study abroad programs from CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange, and how to apply for a Global Navigator Scholarship to one of their 44 life-changing programs.

Nearly twenty BHS students traveled last year and had high impact experiences. Come here from a few parents and students who did one of the programs. Three types of programs are offered in 22 destinations: Language & Culture programs in seven different languages, Service & Leadership programs in areas like children’s rights or education, and Global Discovery programs in environmental science and social media journalism, to name a few.

Any student graduating in 2017, 2018, or 2019 is eligible to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded based on both merit and financial need. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2015.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Chris Young, BIHS Community Development Director (chrisyoung at berkeley.net) or better yet, the local CIEE contact: Emily Drummond, edrummond at ciee.org, 207.274.5661
