Winter Sports 2015-2016, Athletic Packets and Eligibility
**Remember that you can clear your packet for SPRING sports NOW and be READY!!!!!

Clearing dates for athletic packets are lunchtime and after school (3:30-5:00) on November 4 and 5. There is no school on November 6 but the AD office will be open and clearing packets from 12-5. Athletic Director's office J207 (behind the stadium bleachers).

TRYOUTS START ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 9th.

Thinking about playing a Winter Sport? Get your athletic packet and make sure you have an up-to-date physical (medical clearance from you doctor within the year) or schedule an appointment with your physician now!

If you already cleared a packet, or played a fall sport, all you need for tryouts is a Gold Card from the AD office that says "Cleared for Winter Sports". If you do not have the card but you turned in the packet already THIS school year, come to J207 during the dates listed above and get a card. You will present the Gold Ticket to to the coach at tryouts.

You can also clear your packet for Spring Sports. Do it early and be READY for tryouts!

Athletic Packets are available to pick up anytime outside of the Athletic Director's office, at the BHS Front Desk or download at http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/. (All Athletic Packets for Winter Sports will be collected before tryouts begin.)

Please remember that eligibility is based on your Quarter 1 grades so work hard to make sure those grades are at a 2.0 minimum GPA. If you need any assistance, please ask your teachers about tutoring or check in with your counselors, or come by and see Athletic Academic Counselor, Xia Lee, in the Coaches' room J205 Monday and Wednesday afterschool.
