Dear Parents & Guardians,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing with a brief update on the calendar for academic Quarters 1 and 2. For the current school year, Quarter 1 was scheduled to end on October 23, 2015.

In an effort to balance Quarters 1 and 2 in terms of days and weeks of school, we have modified Quarter 1 so that it ends on October 30.

This change only applies to Berkeley High School and Berkeley Technical Academy, and not the middle schools in Berkeley Unified School District.
