Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office. For those of you 
who do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or 
if you would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily 
Bulletin section of Powerschool.

*ADMIN:*

1. *Forum with Mr. Pasarow*, BHS' New Principal- You have the 
opportunity to welcome the new BHS Principal, Sam Pasarow, in an 
informal conversation about BHS.*He will meet with students from 9:15 am 
- 9:45 am on Monday, June 1 in the Berkeley High Library*. All students 
are encouraged to attend.

2. *Textbooks* - Please remember to return all of your textbooks and 
library books to the textbook room or library. Graduating seniors will 
not receive their diplomas if they have books due to the school. Seniors 
can check their outstanding fines during lunch time and after school in 
the textbook room.

3. *Senior Awards Ceremony* - The Senior Awards Ceremony is on June 3, 
2015 at 6:30 PM in the BHS Florence Schwimley Little Theater. 
Scholarships, Seal of Biliteracy, and other awards will be recognized.

4.*Summer PE Waivers* - The Attendance Office will begin distributing 
Summer PE Waiver forms on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The first portion of 
the waiver process is due back to the attendance office no later than 
Friday, June 19, 2015. NO exceptions will be made for missed deadlines. 
Yes, the attendance office will be open the week after school is out. 
The yellow portion of the Summer PE Waiver is due back to the attendance 
office no later than September 11, 2015 by 4pm. No exceptions will be 
granted to this deadline.

*EVENTS: *

1.*Dance Production 2015* - FIRSTS and LASTS with Guest Choreographers 
Tanya Chianese & Joslynn Mathis is on Saturday, May 30 @ 7pm and Sunday, 
May 31 @ 5pm in the Schwimley Little Theater (on Allston, between MLK & 
Milvia) Tickets are $5 for students and seniors or $12 general 
admission. You can find get tickets at

beautiful, energized, inspired evening of full-bodied theater -- great 
for kids, grandparents, and everyone in between. Please help us spread 
the word & fill every seat in the house.

*LEADERSHIP:*

1. *Link Crew* - Leadership is looking for current 10th & 11th graders 
to join Link Crew. Applications are available outside of the Leadership 
Office or by email at your request. Contact Mr. V for more info. ​The 
deadline for the application is Monday, June 1 at 4:00 pm. Link Crew is 
an opportunity for next year's upperclassmen to mentor a group of 
incoming 9th graders. It is a yearlong freshman transition program that 
helps to improve the safety, flow of information, and level of 
connection at BHS. Link Leaders are KIND, ENTHUSIASTIC, WILLING TO HELP 
OTHERS and are ACCOUNTABLE!
