The next meeting of the Berkeley High School Development Group (BHSDG) 
is on Monday, June 1 at 7 p.m. in the BHS Library.  BHSDG meetings are 
open to the public.

/The BHSDG could use some new faces  Many folks are moving on as their 
kids graduate. We need a Webmaster, a CAS liaison, and someone to 
coordinate our Wearable sales./

A trusted and effective independent non-profit organization, the BHSDG 
provides funding for many important programs throughout BHS, including:

·       Free drop-in After School Tutoring for all students

·       Classroom Supplies Mini-Grants for every classroom teacher

·       The Substance Abuse Prevention program through the Health Center

·       PSAT testing for all 10th graders during the school day

·       Sexual harassment awareness program for seniors

·       State-of-the-art equipment for science and the arts

·       And many more grants, both small and large
