Berkeley High squared off against the fastest crews from California, 
Arizona, and Utah over the weekend at the Southwest Youth Championship 
and had its best overall performance in years.  The Jackets brought home 
Bronze medals in the Men's Lightweight Double (3rd of 21) and Women's 
Varsity Four (3rd of 21), and Gold in the Women's Pair (1st of 14).  By 
virtue of their top-three finishes in those events, Berkeley has earned 
the right to compete for national titles at the Youth National 
Championship in June.
