Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office. For those of you
who do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or
if you would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily
Bulletin section of Powerschool.

Berkeley High School Bulletin*

*SENIORS:*
There is a required *Senior Meeting* scheduled on Monday, March 16
during sixth period (2:47-3:30) for all seniors. It will take place in
the Community Theater. At this meeting, we will review all of the
information in the senior letter.
*JAZZ CONCERT:*
Get your tickets to hear the Berkeley High *Jazz Ensemble in concert at
Yoshi's *March 16th. The 7 p.m. show will feature Combo A, newly back
from winning top honors at the Charles Mingus Jazz Festival in New York,
as well as the big band.The 9 p.m. show will feature the wonderful BHS
combo B, and the jazz ensemble playing an all Latin dance set. Tickets
are available through the Yoshi's box office, in person or online.

*SPORTS:*
Congratulations to both Girls and Boys *Basketball* on their victories
last night in Round 1 of the CIF Regional Championships! Girls defeated
Lincoln High 63-36 and the Boys defeated Salinas 68-53. On Saturday,
Girls host James Logan here at BHS Donahue Gym at 6:00 Saturday Boys
travel to Sheldon High and also play at 6:00 Students (with ASB Card)
pay $7 for CIF games - come cheer on your Yellowjackets!
*MISC:*
Berkeley High students! *Do you want* *the school climate around sexual
harassment and gender equality to improve?* On Wednesday, the school
board will be discussing possible funding for a title IX coordinator,
the person who can make that happen. Show them you want a school free of
gender discrimination by attending the school board meeting this
Wednesday the 15th at 7:00 PM, at 1231 Addison street to support fellow
students asking for the school board to fund this position.
