Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office. For those of you
who do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or
if you would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily
Bulletin section of Powerschool.

*ADMINISTRATION:*
**
*1. CAHSEE Test*
This is a reminder that CAHSEE is happening on March 17th and March 18
for all Sophomores who were absent in February and all Juniors and
Seniors who still have not passed the exam. Please make sure to check in
with your counselors to confirm whether or not you need to take any
portion of the exam. The exam will be in the Jacket Gym at 8 AM.
*SENIORS:*
**
*1. Senior Meeting*
There is a required Senior Meeting scheduled on Monday, March 16 during
sixth period (2:47-3:30) for all seniors. It will take place in the
Community Theater. At this meeting, we will review all of the
information in the senior letter.
*EVENTS:*
**
*1. District-wide Green Team Gathering*
Subject: next Wed, March 18 Are you interested in supporting the 4Rs
(reduce, reuse, recycle, rot) at your school, but not sure where to plug
in? Come join us at LeConte next Wed, March 18th, 6-8pm for a
district-wide Spring Green Team Gathering! Green Teams are made up of
parents, teachers, staff, and/or students at each school and support
district efforts to reduce waste and more. Dinner will be served at
5:45pm and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:15pm. To RSVP, please
visit bit.ly/197DluX. A $50 stipend will be available to district
classroom teachers and staff in attendance. Questions? Please contact

*LEADERSHIP:*

*1. Month of Service*
March is the month of service. Leadership is holding a toiletry drive.
Donate unopened shampoos, lotions, soap and razors. There will be
collection bins in the Leadership Office. All toiletries will be given
to the local homeless shelter B.O.S.S. Volunteer to work with Leadership
and make toiletry kits on March 20th.

*SPORTS:*
1. Congratulations to both Girls and Boys* Basketball *on their
victories last night in Round 1 of the CIF Regional Championships! Girls
defeated Lincoln High 63-36 and the Boys defeated Salinas 68-53.
Saturday the Girls host James Logan here at BHS Donahue Gym at 6:00
Saturday Boys travel to Sheldon High and also play at 6:00 Students
(with ASB Card) pay $7 for CIF games - come cheer on your Yellowjackets!
