Girls Jazz Day at Berkeley High 2015

Berkeley High School hosted the third annual Girls Jazz Day on Saturday at
the Berkeley Community Theater. Over 50 girls ages 10 - 14 who were
interested in playing jazz attended. No experience was necessary! Students
worked in clinics with local women who are professional jazz musicians.

The day ended with performance demonstrations from the clinics and a showing
of the documentary "The Girls in the Band".
