Please join us in the BHS College and Career Center (2nd floor of the D
Building) on Monday, March 9, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm for the
monthly BOLD meeting.
Is schoolwork baffling? A panel of experienced instructors will talk
about afterschool tutoring, share information about their programs, and
take some questions. The panel includes:
Tatiana Guerreiro Ramos, Classroom Matters
Jose Herrera Cruz, Y-Scholars
Nicole Lu, Private Tutor
Wyn Skeels, BHS Academic Support Coordinator
*Dr. Susan Craig, BUSD Director, Student Services* will speak briefly
about Special Education within the district, and specifically
in Berkeley High School. (Dr. Craig’s presentation is rescheduled from
the February meeting.)
*BOLD (Berkeley High Families Owning Learning Differences)* is a support
group for parents of children with Learning Differences. This group,
formed in 2013 by Berkeley High parents, meets on the 2nd Monday of the
month at Berkeley High in the College and Career Center.
BOLD is dedicated to finding ways to support, empower and educate
students with learning disabilities and their families by fostering
understanding and advocating for effective intervention.
