February 25, 2015:

Closed Session Report, Agenda Approval and Meeting Overview

Board President Judy Appel reported out on Closed Session and gave a meeting
overview. The Board approved the agenda removing Consent Item 25 Approval of
Probationary Non-Reelection of Probationary Certificated Employees. All
other Consent Items were approved.

Board Recognition

The Board recognized this year's Classified Employee's WE CARE Awards for
customer service. Deputy Superintendent Javetta Cleveland presented the
Board's certificate. These employees were first recognized at the annual
BUSD Classified Meeting in January.

Action Item

1. Enrollment/Capacity Update and Potential Action

The Board received an update from staff, and gave direction on additional
information needed before proceeding. The Board directed staff to reschedule
the Board's community meeting on this subject from the March 4th date
originally scheduled, to a date that further information is available. That
date will be published as soon as it has been decided.

The Board received an update on the District's progress with the Local
Control Accountability Plan.

unless specifically requested by a board member.
