¡El programa Y-Scholars está aceptando aplicaciones de estudiantes de 
noveno y onceavo grado para este semestre éntrate!

Y-Scholars es un programa *gratuito* que se realiza por la tarde después 
de escuela. Nosotros trabajamos con estudiantes que buscan apoyo para ir 
a la universidad, asistencia académica como tutoría y consejería. Mucho 
de nuestros estudiantes son los primeros en su familia que están en 
rumbo a la universidad.

Los solicitantes del programa no necesitan tener notas "A" para ser 
parte de esta fascinante comunidad de aprendizaje que se enorgullece de 
su diversidad y valores educativos. Sin embargo, estamos buscando a 
estudiantes dispuestos a mejorar, hacer cambios positivos, y a poner 
mucho esfuerzo de su parte para salir adelante.

The Y-Scholars Program at the YMCA-PG&E Teen Center reopened enrollment 
for current Freshmen and Juniors. Students who would like to get 
academic coaching and support are encouraged to apply.

Pick up and application at the Teen Center, just across from Berkeley 
High. The application can also be downloaded at register.yscholars.org.

About us:


The Y-Scholars Program is a free after-school program that provides 
skills and self-confidence to succeed in high school and to apply to 
college. The program links first generation college-bound and low-income 
students to mentors, tutors, and counselors who provide individual 
attention tailored to students' specific needs.
