Student Daily Bulletinswill be sent out through the E-tree twice a week.
For those of you who do not hear announcements where you are during
second period, or if you would like to read them each day, you can find
them in the Daily Bulletin section of Powerschool.

LEADERSHIP:*
1. Buy cookies, get prizes! *The Golden Ticket Fundraiser* for the
sophomore class is the first week of November at lunch time, Monday
through Friday on the senior steps. For each cookie you buy, you will
have a chance to win one of over 100 prizes! Prized include gift cards
for Visa, Amazon, Cafe Clem, Sliver and more! Support leadership, eat
cookies and win prizes at the Golden Ticket Fundraiser.
*SPORTS:*
1.*Winter Tryouts* - Want to try out for a Berkeley High School Winter
Sport team? Winter Sports include boys and girls Basketball, Soccer and
Wrestling. Tryouts begin on November 10th. You must have a completed
athletic packet (including a current physical from a doctor) cleared
with the Athletic Director's office. Athletic packets are available
outside of the Athletic Director's office J207, the Front Desk or the
BHS website. Clearing dates for the packets will be this week, November
3-7 at lunchtime and after school. Already cleared a packet for Fall
Sports? Just come by and register during those times. All Athletes with
cleared packets will be given a Gold Ticket to give the Coach on first
day at tryouts. Athletic Packets must be turned in in advance of
tryouts! You may not try out without clearance from the Athletic Director.

ADMINISTRATION:*
1.*Saturday School* - Please go to the Attendance Office to sign up for
Saturday School. The next Saturday School is on *November 8th from 9 AM
to 12 PM*. If you attend this Saturday School you can clear six absences
from October.
2. *Senior Portraits *- There have been additional Senior Portrait
appointment times added to the calendar. Please visit
abcschoolportraits.com <http://abcschoolportraits.com> to schedule your
appointment as soon as possible.
*EVENTS:*
1. *Ecology Project trip to Belize* - Mr. Campisi is organizing a trip
to Belize through Ecology Project International. Under the guidance of a
research team the group will investigate the habitats and behaviors of
dolphins and jaguars. The trip will be March 28-April 5 (Spring Break).
/There is an informational meeting for parents and students on November
18th at 6:30pm in /G209. This trip is not organized or sponsored by
Berkeley Unified School District.
*CLUBS: *
1. Are you interested in theatre? Audition for *IndependentTheatre
Projects*, three one-act plays that are completely student directed and
produced. Sign-up to audition at C232, Mr. Conn's room. Email Ben Regas

2. *The Homeless Support Club* is holding a blanket and toiletry drive
from November 1st to November 26th. Come donate either blankets or
toiletries and bring them to any of the donation bins located in the
C-gallery and the 1st and 2nd floor of where the G and C buildings meet.
Supplies collected will be handed out during the Holiday Meal and given
to homeless Berkeley High students. Support your local homeless
community and donate!
*SENIORS:*
1. *College Presentations* - Please refer to the calendar at the
Berkeley High School web site - College Career Center for changes in the
schedule.
