Ben Nathan, of Berkeley High Mathematics fame, joins the Athletics Staff as
the new Head Wrestling Coach!  

Welcome!

 

Ben Nathan is a math teacher of 8 years, though this is his first at BHS. He
was a 4 year varsity letterman in Wrestling at North Springs High School in
Atlanta, GA. He was also the 2-year captain of the NSHS team, including the
1999-2000 season when they sent their highest number of qualifiers to the
state tournament in school history. Over the last 14 years, he has played
rugby for a variety of college and men's clubs, as well as coaching runners
and youth rugby players.

 

We are so pleased to have another teacher on campus sharing their after
school time and athletics skill with our Student Athletes.  Many thanks to
Ben!

 

Wrestling is a Winter Sport and tryouts begin on November 10, 2014.
Wrestling is open to both Boys and Girls. All Student Athletes must have a
completed and cleared Athletic Packet in order to try out.  Packets are
available outside of the Athletic Director's office, at the BHS front desk,
and online to download at the Berkeley High School website on the Athletics
tab http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/    

 

Athletic Packets must be cleared with the Athletic Director's office during
lunch and after school this week, 11/3-11/7 at lunchtime and after school.

Any student interested in Wrestling should attend this meeting!
