Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office. For those of you 
who do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or 
if you would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily 
Bulletin section of Powerschool.

*SENIORS*


1. Your parents are invited to Seniors' Information Night- hear about 
student profiles and student life, financial information, and advice for 
applications from admissions directors from UC Berkeley and three 
private colleges or universities. It will be on Tuesday, October 21 at 
6:30-8:30 PM in the Berkeley High School Library in D Building D-226. 
This is for parents of seniors only.

*JUNIORS & SENIORS:*


1. Your parents are invited to a Financial Aid Information Session. Get 
info about financial aid, FAFSA or CSS, how to pay for college, and 
more. The session is on Thursday, October 23 at 6:30-8:30 PM in the 
Berkeley High School Library. Presented by Kim Boston, College and 
Financial Aid Adviser.

*SPORTS:*

1.*Boys Soccer *- Attention all boys interested in playing soccer, there 
is a meeting for prospective players and parents this Wednesday! The 
meeting is in the Library at 7:15 pm, if you plan to tryout you should 
attend this meeting.

2.*Mountain Bike Team *- Do you like to ride bikes?! You know you do, so 
come to the Berkeley High Mountain Bike Team's meeting this Wednesday, 
October 22nd in room M204. Meet the team and join them on the trails 
this upcoming season. For more info email

*CLUBS: *

1*. Experimental Theatre Club* - Come check out the Experimental Theatre 
Club Tuesdays at lunch in Mr. Winer's room A203, all are welcome. They 
make plays and see them.

* MUSIC:*

1.*BHSJazz at Lunch* - The final Jazz at Lunch concert this Fall will be this 
Friday, October 24th. It will be featuring Owen Storey and Friends.

*MISC:*

1.*Yearbooks *-Yearbooks are $65 until October 31st, after that they 
will be $80. Go to C327 to pay, cash or checks made out to - Berkeley 
High Yearbooks.

2. Down Syndrome Awareness Month - Did you know that this month is Down 
Syndrome Awareness Month? If you want to learn more about it, check out 
the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area's website. A BHS Student - 
(Eli's mother) works there and she can teach you more about Down
