Berkeley High School Bulletin - 9/25/14

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT:*


1. Please pick up your*BART tickets* in room D224 at lunch time.

2. *Parking* - Remember that you are not allowed to park in parking 
spots that are not designated. Parking permits must also be clearly 
displayed. Towing will begin on Monday, September 29th.

*JUNIORS: *

1. *PSAT* sign-ups for Juniors will begin Sept. 24 at lunch and after 
school at the ticket window at Allston Way by the A gate. The fee is $25 
payable in cash or check written to Berkeley High School. Juniors who 
qualify for free and reduced lunch can pay $5. Sign-ups for Juniors will 
end Wednesday, Oct. 8. Sophomores will sign up between Oct. 1 and Oct. 
8. The test is Saturday, October 18th. Students should report to the 
campus green at 8 a.m. on the 18th. Room assignments will be posted on 
the C building doors. The testing should conclude by noon.

2nd: Bennington College
3rd: University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC)

CLUBS: *

1. If you want to make a difference in the community then join the 
*Compassionate Leaders. *Take action on a social justice cause of your 
choice by collaborating with an awesome group of diverse BHS students. 
Your work will be seen by thousands of people in Berkeley and Oakland. 
Sign up at compassionateleaders.org <http://compassionateleaders.org> or 
attend the meeting on October 1st from 3:45 to 5:45 in room H211.

*SPORTS: *

1. Come to the BHS Jacket's *Football home game this Friday* against 
Heritage. Join the Hive student cheering section and support our mighty 
jackets.
