The Berkeley Writers' Workshop summer programming for teens is back with a
series of free, 90-minute writing workshops for youth, 13-17 years of age.
Taught by published writers, these workshops are designed to generate new
writing and create community among young writers and artists.

Workshops are on July 8, 15, 22 from 2-3:30 pm at the Main Branch of the
Berkeley Public Library on Kittredge. We'll be in the third floor community
room. All writers, beginning or experienced, including those who write
poetry, fan fiction, comics fiction, non-fiction, plays, or scripts, are
welcome.

Instructors include author Stephanie Kuehn (BHS alumna, author of Charm &
Strange and Complicit), Stephanie Yun (Oakland Youth Poet Laureate), Mariko
Tamaki (co-creator of the graphic novels, Skim and This One Summer).
