The Board approved the agenda, pulling Consent Item No. 5 Approval of 
New Course at BHS: AVID Senior

Seminar to return at the June 26^th meeting, and moving Action Item 8 
Release/Non-Reelection of Temporary and/or "Probationary 0" Certificated 
Employee to return on June 11^th .

*Recognition*

The Board recognized the BUSD District and schools who received national 
recognition for the successful implementation of the Welcoming Schools 
curriculum. It was noted that BUSD is the only District in the nation to 
mandate Welcoming Schools training for teachers and staff.
