ADMINISTRATION: *

1. *Summer School* - Juniors! Summer School applications are available 
in the Counseling Office.  Please turn them in to your counselor ASAP.

2. *Summer PE Waivers* - If you plan to participate in a sport this 
summer, you may pick up a Summer PE Waiver from the attendance office 
before school, during lunch or after school. Summer Waivers with 
attached letter are due back no later than June 20th. Yes, the 
attendance office will be open the week after school ends. If you plan 
to satisfy your PE requirement through the YMCA, you do not need to pick 
a waiver from the Attendance Office, instead, go directly to the YMCA 
for information regarding their summer program.

3. *Textbooks* - It's textbook return time. Return your textbooks in the 
Community Theater lobby before school, during lunch or after school!

4. *BHS is Going Green* this summer! Encourage your parents to sign up 
for the etree! The summer registration packet will be done online this 
school year, so make sure that you're connected to the etree. To 
subscribe please email bhs-request at lmi.net <mailto:bhs-request at lmi.net> 
with only the word subscribe in the subject line. If you would still 
like an old fashioned paper summer mailing packet, please stop by the 
front desk.

5. *Yearbooks* are still for sale but going fast, come to the Community 
Theater at lunch or after school. They are $80 or $65 if you have free 
or reduced lunch. Don't wait.

*SENIORS: *

1. *Class of 2014!*!! -seniors must attend a Graduation meeting on 
Thursday, June 12 in the community theater from 1:15 - 1:45pm. The 
1:15pm meeting will cover the schedule of grad events, graduate 
responsibilities as well as the expectations for day of graduation.

And on the day of graduation, Friday, June 13, don't forget to 
attend the 9 am rehearsal at the Greek Theatre on the UC Berkeley 
campus. We will review the graduation timeline and you will be able to 
claim your seat in the ceremony.


*/Graduation Tickets/ *-Please check your school email account and open 
the link for the Senior Exit Report from the College and Career Center. 
This is a required form to submit before you can receive your two free 
graduation tickets. After completing this online form, you may come to 
the CCC to pick up your pass for retrieving your two free graduation 
tickets. Take that pass to Ms. Reed in D173. Families may purchase 
additional tickets from Cal Performances by:

- In person at Zellerbach Hall
- By telephone (510) 642-9988
- Online at http://tickets.berkeley.edu/

Ticket Prices: Bowl Regular $22......Bowl Reduced $15*
Lawn Regular $8......Lawn Reduced $8*
ALL SEATING IS GENERAL ADMISSION
*REDUCED TICKET PRICES: Students who receive free and reduced lunch are 
eligible for discounted tickets. Discount codes will be available from 
the counseling office. The discount code is good for five tickets and 
must be presented in person at Zellerbach Hall at the time of purchase 
to receive the discount. Make sure to specify if you or a guest require 
ADA seating. Guests sitting in the ADA section may have one person 
accompanying them. The box office can clarify the ADA policy. 
Transportation will be available to and from BHS at Milvia and Bancroft. 
There will be 3-4 buses, one being wheelchair accessible, starting at 
3:30. Return trips will begin after the ceremony ends with the last bus 
leaving at 9pm.

JACKET:*

1. *Donations Needed*: Do you have a closet full of things you have no 
use for anymore? Well, here is your lucky chance to get rid of them! 
Donate to the Jacket rummage sale fundraiser this Sunday, June 8.

questions.

EVENTS:*


1. *Daylighting* - All BHS Students can see "Daylighting" for free at 
Shotgun Players until June 22nd. This show was developed with BHS drama 
students and is all about Berkeley. Just tell 'em you're from Berkeley 
High to get in.

2. *Come hear the BHS Jazz Ensemble* in its final concert of the year 
TONIGHT, Friday June 6th at 7 p.m. in the Florence Schwimley Little 
Theatre. Tickets are FREE to all BHS students and staff. It'll be a 
great show, and we hope you can join us!
