Please come out this Sunday, May 18th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm and enjoy
the 19th Annual */Jazz on 4th/* street music festival. It is FREE! Bask
in the warmth of some great music while also supporting the BHS Jazz
Program. This is one of BHS Jazz's major fundraising events of the year
thanks to the generous support of the Fourth Street Merchants, KCSM Jazz
91, Avalon Berkeley, Berkeleyside and YOU. This wonderful tradition
takes place on Fourth Street between Hearst and Virginia in West
Berkeley. Entry is free though we hope you will also enjoy beer courtesy
of Tumer Pils, sake from Takara Sake USA, and lots of food options from
the 4th Street purveyors. For more information, visit Jazz on Fourth
<http://www.fourthstreet.com/loft39.html> or call the hot line at (510)
526-6294 <tel:%28510%29%20526-6294>. J*/azz on 4th/* raises funds to
support BHS Jazz programs through raffles featuring great prizes donated
by the 4th Street merchants, and fabulous booths with wares, food and
drinks. This year's festival features the talents of legendary jazz
vocalist Ed Reed; the classic blues sounds of the Bay Area's own Sista
Monica Parker; the traditional Cuban grooves of Tito Y Su Son De Cuba;
and the Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble and Combos under the
direction of BHS Alumna, Sarah Cline. "The BHS Jazz Ensemble is looking
forward to another great Jazz on Fourth Street Festival -- it is always
a highlight of our year!" said Sarah Cline, BHS Jazz Program Director./

/Please come out and support BHS Jazz this Sunday while also treating
yourself to some great music, food, drink and merriment!
