AFRICAN AMERICAN DANCE CONCERT

Friday, May 16, 2014 at 7 PM at BHS' Berkeley Community Theater.

 

BHS' African American Studies Department presents "CULTURE IS STRENGTH II".
An exciting evening of dance, music, songs, and many other genres are
performed by youth from diverse backgrounds. 

 

DANCE: African, Modern, Hip-Hop, Haitian, Caribbean, Salsa, Native American
Indian, and Tahitian. The kaleidoscope of cultural experiences will
definitely satisfy everyone's tastes and interests.

Box Office opens 5:30 pm.

Theater doors open approximately 6:30 pm.

 

The BCT theater is on the BHS campus at 1980 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA
94704.  Wheelchair accessible.

 

If you want to feel young and energized, this is the concert to attend
because our young people will give you a burst of their fire and make you
smile.

Special discounted ticket price for "CHILDREN'S FAMILY GROUP":

Purchase 1 ADULT General ticket at $8 

AND buy tickets for at least 3 CHILDREN 

at a cost of $3.00 per child ($2.00 off regular price).

(Children must enter the BCT theater in a group with the group's ticketed
adult.)
