Are you a bicycle enthusiast?  Do you like working with younger students?
Do you need to fulfill community volunteer hours? 

 

Come out and volunteer at the Get Ready, Gear Up! Berkeley Bike Festival 

 

Sunday, May 4th, 12-4pm at Berkeley Arts Magnet School, 2015 Virginia St.

 

Come celebrate all things Bike in preparation for Bike to School and Work
Day. Cosponsored by Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools and the Berkeley
Unified School District as well as the Berkeley Climate Action Coalition
Transportation Working Group, the day will begin with a family ride with
Geared-4-Kids from 10:30am-12pm, followed by the festival.

 

The festival begins at 12`pm with activities and events the whole family can
enjoy: helmet decorating, free bike maps, free bike repairs from the
BikeMobile, cargo-bike expo, a youth bike swap, bike way-finding, a bike
rodeo, bike blended smoothies and much, much more!
