[BHS Etree] EVENTS: BHS Students Honored at Rising Stars Event, June 5 (Thur)

Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) will honor 20 youth at
the first annual Rising Stars event on Thursday, June 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The youth are being nominated by BOSS, Berkeley Youth Alternatives, Berkeley
High School and Berkeley Technology Academy for making progress to overcome
serious life obstacles. The event will be held at Northbrae Community
Church, 941 The Alameda, Berkeley, 94707. 

 

The Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the event.

 

The youth being honored are listed below:

Tickets are being sold now for $30 apiece, or two for $50. The public may
